Rae Ann Ross lives a creative life, alternating between her homes in Long Island, the Bahamas, and Lancaster County, PA, where she produces many of her works in her home studios. Her journey into oil painting is relatively recent; it began in the winter of 2019 when she attended a local painting class. With a background as a gemstone jeweler and artisan, Rae Ann possesses a strong foundation in color and design, which has allowed her to seamlessly transition into oil painting, her chosen medium.
Rae Ann thrives on using vibrant color palettes and endeavors to create paintings that resonate emotionally with viewers. Her art enriches modern interiors with a unique style. Featuring a broad range of subject matter, her work reflects her evolution and experimentation with various styles, particularly her passion for abstract expressionism.

In November of 2023, Rae Ann's piece "Nature's Tropical Whimsical Garden" was awarded Best of Show at the 52nd Annual Open Juried Art Exhibition held by the York Art Association in York, Pennsylvania.
